The dream I had was short. I was staying in a hotel and the hotel room had a front door and a backdoor. Outside of the backdoor was a raised black metal walkway, it sort of resembled a fire escape. All along the far side of the walkway where the railing was, there was a series of òrìṣà shrines. It seemed like an endless line of them. The shrines which were most "in my face" was of Oshun, Oya, Babalu Aye, and Ogun. The shrines were both of modern day Western style as well as traditional Nigerian/Isese style. There was a woman who was talking to me but I don't remember what she said to me. When I returned to my room I felt this necessity to make an offering to Ogun. It was almost an obsession level feeling of need to make offering to him. So I gathered all the things I needed to make the offering and went back outside through the back door and onto the walk way to make my offering. Then I woke up.
